Please read these rules carefully before submitting an app or casting a vote. By participating in Growlink Builder Week, you agree to these terms in full.
Builder Week is sponsored by Growlink, Inc. ("Growlink"), located at 1489 N Cherokee St, Unit D, Northglenn, CO 80234. Questions may be directed to ted@growlink.com.
Builder Week is open to all active Growlink customers with an Essentials plan or higher in good standing at the time of submission. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
Employees of Growlink, Inc. and their immediate family members are not eligible to win prizes but may participate and submit apps.
Participation is void where prohibited by applicable law.
Builder Week runs from November 2–6, 2026, with voting from November 9–13, 2026. All times are Mountain Time (MT).
Growlink reserves the right to modify competition dates with reasonable advance notice to participants.
To submit an app to Builder Week, participants must:
Limit one submission per participant. Apps must be original work created by the submitting operator. Apps built during the competition period (Nov 2–6) are eligible; apps built before November 2 are not. Submissions by Growlink employees are not eligible for prizes.
Voting opens Monday, November 9, at 8:00 AM MT. One vote per person, total. One app per category is permitted.

Only one prize per participant. If one app qualifies for multiple categories, the Growlink judging panel will assign it to the single category where it is the strongest fit.
In the event of a tie for Community Favorite, the app with the earlier submission timestamp wins.
Winning apps are also featured in the Growlink app gallery, accessible to all Growlink customers within their portal.
Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes on prizes. For U.S. residents, prizes valued at $600 or more will require a completed W-9 form prior to prize fulfillment. Growlink reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable.
Community Favorite is determined by popular vote. The app with the most community votes in that category at the close of voting wins.
All other categories — Most Useful, Most Creative, Most Impactful, and Best First App — are determined by a panel of judges selected by Growlink. The judging panel includes Ted Tanner (CEO, Growlink) and at least two additional judges.
Judges evaluate submissions on the following criteria:
Judges' decisions are final. Growlink reserves the right to withhold a prize in any category if submissions do not meet minimum quality standards.
Submitted apps must:
Apps that connect to or display data from third-party systems must have proper authorization from those systems' owners. Growlink is not responsible for apps that access, store, or transmit data in violation of applicable law.
Participants retain full ownership of the apps they submit to Builder Week.
By submitting an app, participants grant Growlink a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to feature the app name, description, and screenshot in Growlink marketing materials, social media, blog posts, and product announcements. Growlink will credit the builder by name when featuring their work.
Participants also grant Growlink a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to make their app available via Share ID to other Growlink customers through the app gallery.
Growlink will not distribute, resell, or share submitted app code without the participant's explicit written consent.
Participants acknowledge that apps built using employer-owned Growlink accounts may be subject to their employer's intellectual property policies. Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from their employer before submitting.
Email addresses collected during submission and voting are used solely for Builder Week administration and winner notification. They will not be added to marketing lists without separate, explicit opt-in consent.
Voter email addresses are collected to enforce one-vote-per-person limits and are not shared with any third party. Growlink handles all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Winners will be notified by email and their eligibility verified before the public announcement the week of November 16.
Winners must respond to claim their prize within 7 days of notification. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, Growlink reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate winner.
Winners may be required to complete a prize acceptance form, W-9 (for U.S. residents), and a publicity release before receiving their prize.
Growlink reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:
Growlink is not responsible for technical failures, submission errors, or voting system issues beyond its reasonable control. In the event of a dispute regarding the outcome of any category, Growlink's decision is final.
Growlink's total liability to any participant is limited to the stated prize value for that participant's category.
Participation in Builder Week constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules and all decisions made by Growlink.
Growlink reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel Builder Week at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to technical issues, insufficient participation, or events beyond Growlink's reasonable control.
Growlink will provide reasonable notice to participants where possible.
These Official Rules and any disputes arising from Builder Week shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising from Builder Week shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Colorado.
